So, spring break didnt go quite as planned. We didnt make it to Houston. We stayed home all week. The kids and I kept busy though. Wednesday we went to the Dallas World Aquarium. They loved it. Jackson loved the "Shark Tank"! Thursday we went to the Ft Worth Zoo. It was super crowded! We had to park forever and a day away! The kids were really good though. I was so proud of them. Friday we went to the Ft Worth Science and History museum. It was crowded too, but there was fun stuff for both kids to do. Kennedy like the area where you pretend to be the doctor. It was a busy couple of days, but we had a blast. They were very good for me, which was shocking! But, I did have a talk with them before hand, since I was taking all 3 kids to very busy places during spring break all by myself!!!
Tomorrow is the Easter Egg parties and egg hunts at both Kennedy and Jacksons school. I am going to try and make both. Thankfully Jacksons is first thing in the morning, so I should be able to go to it, then make it to Kennedys before its over.
I registered Kennedy for PreK on Monday! I cant believe she will start next year. She is growing up way too fast. She is so ready for school though. She cant wait!
Carter is 7 months already. Talk about growing up too fast! He will be a year before ya know it! He went to the dr today for his 6 mnth check up. He weighs 23lbs 4oz and is 28 inches long. He is a big boy. He got one shot, and only cried for a second! They are all getting too big too fast!!!

Spring Break

Its spring break this week! WooHoo!!! We dont really have much planned. We are hopefully going to houston tomorrow. We want to go to Galveston for a day. The kids need something fun, instead of just staying at home! Jackson loves being out of school. I think he is ready for summer time! I love it too, cuz we get to sleep in, at least a little bit.
Carter is getting big. We went to the dr last week and he weighs 23 lbs, at 6 months! He has also cut his 2 top teeth. So he has 4 teeth now, and more coming in I think. He is growing too fast! He is on breathing treatments right now. The dr said she thinks he might have asthma. I hope not... We go for a check up today to see how he is doing.

Thankful

I have been following a blog lately and it reminds me of how lucky I am. This young woman, only a year older than me, died of cancer only a few days after giving birth to her first child. It really touches my heart. Her husband is so strong. He is very faithful and puts his trust in Jesus. I love reading his updates on his blog. He always has scripture listed. Newest Addition!!!

Levi James Friday joined our family yesterday around 8:00pm. My cousin Shayla is the proud Mama! She was due on Feb 18th, so he was a little overdue! She was being induced Wednesday night/Thursday morning. We thought he would be here sooner because her water broke at 10:15am Thursday, but he didnt want to move. He was comfy in there, so the dr decided to go in and get him. She had a c-section. He was a big 'ole boy, weighing in at 10lbs 1oz and 21 1/4inches long!!!! I just love big babies!
Congrats to Shayla and Robert on their new Bundle of Joy!!!

DISNEY

We have booked our trip to DISNEY!!!! Yippee! I am so excited. I havent been to disney since I was like 10 or something. This trip is long overdue! My kids are so excite as well. We are staying 7 nights/8days. We arent going until November, but I am already starting to plan out our days. Getting all my stuff together so I can make dinner reservations May 30th. Thats the earliest I can make then, or I would make them now! Every night I am looking at my disney planner and thinking about what we are going to do! I hope the kids love it as much as I do!

NEW JOB

Cody got a new JOB!!! WooHoo!!! He starts March 8th, my birthday! I am super excited for him. It is a much better opportunity for him than where he is right now, plus more money, which is always good! He is eager to start training and then get out on his own. I know he will be good at it. He will be happier too!

SNOW!!!!!

It snowed in Dallas!!! We couldnt believe it! It hasnt snowed like that is over 30 years! We got about 12 1/2 inches at our house. It was so pretty. I felt like we were in Colorado for a couple of days! The kids loved it. They hadnt seen snow like that. Carter didnt know what to think. We handed him a snowball and he tried to put it in his mouth and started to cry. I guess he didnt like the cold! Here are some pics of us playing in the snow. It was so much fun!
