Updates

So I have fallen behind on blogging..... So here are some updates.
Went to the dr on thursday. Everything is looking good. I am 36 weeks and counting. I didnt gain any weight this week, which is quite alright with me since i had gained 5 lbs in one week last time. She checked me this week... Not much is happening. Cervix is still thick, baby hasnt dropped and I am dialated to 1/2 cm. I guess 1/2 cm is better than nothing.... but, i am still 4 weeks from my due date. I have been having lots of Braxton hicks contractions here lately. Just getting ready for the big stuff.... Jackson and Kennedy are doing good. They are bored at home. Its been too hot to get out and do stuff. Hopefully we will get out this week and go play. They might be going on vacation with my parents in a week, so that will be fun for them... Cody got a new job. He has been there for 2 weeks now. He says its ok. Its a job. At least he has money coming in now. He gets bored at work though. Not much to do.... Other than that, everything else is still the same!

July 4th

We had a great day yesterday. It was a long day, but a good one. We went to see my cousin play baseball in Keller.... Man, it seemed like it took us forever to get there. It was so hot outside. Too hot for baseball, at least for me.... But I am about 8 months pregnant so thats probably why. After we left there, we went to my parents house for a cookout and swimming. It was a lot of fun. The water felt great. It was a little warm, but it was super hot out so thats why. Jackson and Kennedy are both swimming without floaties now. They are so proud. Jackson can swim the length of the pool and back.... They had fun playing with "the tate boys". The tate boys are my cousins and Jackson just calls them the tate boys. Hes funny. When it got dark, we got to pop fireworks. The kids got to do a few. Then we watched the neighbors do theirs. They had a lot this year. They popped them until 11:00 last night. So, we had a busy day. Friday night fireworks

We went to watch fireworks on Friday night. Waxahachie puts on a firework show and we go every year. The kids had a blast. It was a little hot, but it was ok. We sat in my nannies churches parking lot and had a great view. Here are so pics.

Safari!!!!

So the kids wanted to go on a safari on Thursday. I was thinking about taking them to the zoo but as we all know, it is WAY TOO HOT for that. And I found out that Thursday was $1 day and had over 35,000 people there. So glad I didnt go. It would have been horrible! So, we drove by a place called Hiview farms over by my parents house. They have llamas, camels, zebras, and miniture horses. We just looked through the fence, but the kids had a blast. They thought it was so much fun! Here are some pics.

Dr Visit today!

So, I went to the dr today. I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and I have gained a total of 22 lbs. I dont think thats too bad..... Hopefully I wont gain much more than that. I just keep thinking that I will have to loose it all and I hate that part! So, the midwife tells me that we are on the weekly appts now. I'm excited, but I dont really want to have to drive up there every week. I am thinking about cancelling my appt for next week and just rescheduling for the following week. Then I can go every week cuz I will be 36 weeks. I'm not sure yet. But I have starting to have braxton hicks more often now. Nothing too bad yet though, just uncomfortable. She poked and praded at my tummy today to see how he was positioned. It kinda hurt and I'm sure he was wondering what was going on. His head is down, but he could flop around before I deliver. I dont think he will though, I think his head has been down for a little bit. I'm getting excited about his upcoming arrival. I dont have anything done though. I do have a bassinet in my room and some diapers and clothes, so I guess I'm good to start! I need to get my bag packed. I'm not sure what to take this time, cuz I will be leaving about 4 hrs after I have him. So I guess I'm gonna have to ask at my next appt... Its getting close. I cant wait to him the new little man!!!
