End of Year Program

Last night was the end of the year program. It was a stressful day. We had water day at school, early dismissal at 12:15. Me and the kids didnt leave until 3:15. I was working on the scrapbooks for the kids because they had to be done by last night. Jackson and Kennedy were "ok" while I was working, but they were tired and ready to go home. By the time we got home, we only had about 30-45 minutes to rest before we needed to start getting ready and go back to the school. Both kids had to have a bath. They were so tired. They should have just stayed up instead of taking a little nap because I think that was worse. So, we got ready and went back to the school to help set up and eat dinner.
The kids did great on their program. And it was Jacksons graduation. He looked so big. I cant believe that he will be in Kindergarden next year! Man time flies!
Here are so pics I took. And I was so mad.... I pull out my camcorder and the battery is dead. So I had a little bit of time so i was going to charge it. Well, my charger is still at my moms from the party. I was so upset! But atleast i got pics....

The Birthday Party!!!!

So today was the big party day. It started raining last night and didnt stop. It rained all morning long. I thought it would clear out by the afternoon but everything that I saw said it would rain all day. We got several calls this morning asking if the party was still on, and of course we said yes. We would be there rain or shine! We had a bounce house so even if the kids didnt get to swim, they could jump. So it did rain pretty much all afternoon. I didnt think many would show up because of the rain but we still had a big turn out. I was very excited. The kids had a blast. They jumped in the bounce house with their swim suits on, in the rain. And they even swam in the hot tub and pool. They were so tired when it was all over with. And..... I made the cake! I was so proud of myself. It turned out pretty good. My mom told me that i was making it to big but I'm glad I did. There wasnt even any crumbs left! I will post pics of the party and cake tomorrow. I am way too tired tonight!

PARTY!!!

So tomorrow is the big day. And now they are saying that it might rain, which is typical. But we are going to have the party rain or shine. We are going to heat up the hot tub and maybe even the pool. We will see. I am excited about it. They are bringing the bounce house tonight to set it up. I am getting a great deal on it. So I am going to busy today. I have to make the cake and go to the store to get the food. So off to work I go!

Carters Quilt!

I went to see my mother in law today. I was needing to decide on a pattern for little Carters quilt. I went through so many quilting books trying to decide on what I liked. Then she showed me a quilt that she just made and I loved it. I would love to have it for myself. She said the pattern was easy and wouldnt take her any time to do. So I decided to go with it. Now I have to go find fabric! Thats the even harder part. Hopefully I will be able to go with her in the next couple of weeks and find some. I am going to go ahead and redo the boys room because Jackson has been asking to have something different. Right now its cowboy theme, westernie. We are going to paint, but not sure what color. Jackson wants orange, but I'm not sure that I really want orange walls. We will see though. Diana said that she would make him a new quilt for his bed so I'm gonna see what kinda of fabric I can find for him as well. We are going to do bright colors this time, of course with some orange in it. I cant wait to go look. I have put it off too long with this prenancy. I already had the room complete by this time with both Jackson and Kennedy. I guess I'm just being lazy!

Resale Shops

So I've never been one to go to resale shops and dig for things. I hate digging. I would rather just see something and get it. My mother in law has gotten Kennedy some cute things at this resale shop in Mesquite and got our basinet there as well, which looks brand new. So we were in Mesquite today so I made Cody take me to the resale shop. I started looking for Kennedy some dresses. All she has in winter ones and needs summer. I found several that I liked and they were so cheap. I narrowed it down to 6 dresses and they were only $4.50 a piece. Thats a bargain! I was at Target the other day and found a pair of shorts for her and they were $9.99! So I did well. I am so proud!
